Its gonna be close! we are also going to do a fashion review of this seasons new collections! save or splurge? you decide! we have got most of info from magazines and the internet, but we don’t have a interviewee for the beauty section! any volunteers?

Hello! We (Dan, T-Bag & Josh!!) are currently putting together a podcast that is named Bagel News. It will contain sports news, world news, funny facts, interviews with students and two music surveys that will decide the five most popular songs and the three worst songs. We are about a quarter of the way through and hope to entertain you all with our 10 minutes of fame!

We have planed our podcast but I want to use GarageBand on the mac to create it.
Is there any chance you could book us a iBook from media or the mac in the I.T room so we can create it in there.
Our lesson is on Wednesday, After lunch with normally Mrs Colgon but now with someone else.
Thanks
Alex and the rest of my team

Hi
We are unlikely to get an ibook next week as they will probably be in use but there is no reason I can think of that would prevent you using the imac in room 8. Speak to the technicians and we’ll see what we can do (I don’t know if garageband is on that particular machine).
cheers

Hi RG (which i think is my AIDA teacher)
many thanks on the quick return message
If you Mac has iLife ‘06 installed on it then it will have garageband but i mean its hard to say if you don’t know a lot about Macs
I will come and see you at Lunchtime tomorrow but in the mean time Ask Spencer or Adam down at Media (to see IF 1 or 2 are available to borrow for a lesson) but i would always give priority to the people that need it the most
So i will come and see you tomorrow (Wednesday) and see if you Mac has it if i can’t get a iBook from Media
Thanks
Alex & rest of team
P.S As i am now on my mac now I was just wondering for a last resort if we really really really wanted to use garage band we could record at school and edit at my house but that would only be if the above option weren’t available

We are nearly finished now, just need to record about two minutes more. Hopefully will finish by next week. Hope you are looking forward to listening to it.

We have recorded about a third of our podcast, we have the information to record a third more, and the last third has yet to be worked on.
April 27th, 2007 at 8:12 am

To be frank, we as a group hasnt achieved what we wanted to. Cutting sport, interviews and world news out of the pod cast has left us with 3 minutes spare. We havnt yet created a jingle due to a problem with audacity on a computer but hope to almost complete the pod cast in the final 10 mins we’re allowed.
Well however it turns out we hope that you enjoy it and that it provides you with something rather than nothing (even if that something is laughing at T-Bags stupid voices).

We are about 3/4 through, and we have ten minutes left! i did upload it to my webspace at lunch but it won’t work on my computer! So we will have to record and edit it all tomorrow! six more arms needed! so far we’ve got news from the world of mad, the sane music news and kara with a cup of tea. it’s got it all really……. Wish me luck! We still have no-one who’s sane to interview!? but we do have the crazed people of room six……..

We have just about finished recording in our group, the first ten minutes tomorrow will just need to be spent on editing and compiling all of the seperate recordings together. Making the podcast has been quite smooth running, however, because it is on football, the news changes every week so some of the information in the show will be from weeks ago. I think we may have stepped over the time of ten minutes a bit, but it is good quality. Hope you enjoy listening to the finished version!

There have been not many problems but one main one - the sound cards on one computer is bettaer than the other two, so wecan only record on the one. However we have managged and should finish this lesson.
May 18th, 2007 at 8:13 am
We were going to finish Thursday lunchtime, but the computer stopped responding when we tried to record
May 18th, 2007 at 8:40 am

Our podcast is finished and is 10 mins 40 secs long. Hope to get some good feedback from it. So far I’ve only listened to Sam+Oli’s podcast about soaps and other random stuff. The soaps bit was a bit boring because it took up half the podcast and I don’t like soaps either so it didn’t really appeal to me. The rest of the podcast seems a bit randomly invented though and it is quite off topic, some of it is quite ammusing to listen to though. Hope to listen to all the other podcasts next lesson.
May 24th, 2007 at 8:15 pm
Our podcast ‘health matters’ is not very near finishing.
We havent had many chances to finish it at lunch as things keep getting in the way, but we are only a few minutes behind other groups. As we havent finished our own podcast yet, we havent had the chance to listen to anyone elses.

Hi Alex
not easily because of bandwidth concerns - but you could upload it to digitalbrain and allow access from there.
cheers
