Who is unbiased anyway? (for year 8)
For the first few weeks of the year, you have been studying what is meant by bias and working out how to tell if a web site is reliable. Tell us what you think of the work you have done - was it interesting? could it be better? did you share any ideas with anyone else about the unit?

i really enjoyed this topic finding out what other people understand on different subjects we could of spent a little more time on validity but overally an enjoyable topic.

i think that the bias and validity work was very interesting and i found it good fun when we went on the internet to find camps etc. and also mr griffith has tought me something at last that i didn’t already know

helloooo! i quite enjoyed this unit it was good when we used the internet search engines! when we looked for the sites we looked on this site rg gave us and it waz a cheap fake designer online store!!!!

On this unit on studying Bias and Validity it has been quite fun and i have learned quite a bit.

I think ict blog is really good. Because you can put what you want but nothing nasty. I love everybobys thing hehe.

i think ict is really fun and intreating, i really like ict blog because you can say what you want and when you want, this is very good for people to practice writting on the computer and to get good friends and that.

I found this unit on bias kk but I wish i had more time to under stand it.
last week we had a test on our first of unit keywords and i got 11and a half out of 14 which is kk.

I enjoyed this unit in some parts but not all. I liked browsing the internet
it was one of the best parts in this topic. I didn’t really like Boolean as much as the other things in this topic, but i did understand it. bye!!!

I think this unit on bias was alright because there was no hard work involved. And i have learnt alot bout bias and keywords and hopefully it will help me in the near future.

in the weeks of ICT my class and me were doing about bias. bias is were u find 4 of ur favrot websits and print them. on the lesson when we did boolean we had todo a poster about boolean on microsoft word. when we had to do keywords we had to find out what the words ment that were on the left side of the sheet all so found out what URL ment. sins we done so much about stuff on the computer it should help me in the futuer. What i enjoyed about ICT was the boolean poster.

Have you looked at http://www.quick.org.uk/menu.htm ? I really like it and my Year 8 pupils at Lacon also found it helpful.

hello i am rather pleased with the benefits caused by studying bias and validity which has allowed us to experiance websites such as dog isloand, and island where dogs run around like fools. thank you and see you at the park next saturday

it was guite good i like ict and found it fun and it’s helped me at home aswell and it was’ent to hard unlike some work it’s fun brousing the internet wish more lessons have computer’s in
