Year 7 Databases
The databases are done!! The report is finished - now’s your chance to tell us how you think it’s gone (politely please :))

I found this unit of work quite good. I don’t think it is the best though because i prefer using power point and creative stuff on word. Anywayz, I found that making the form was the funnest part of creating the database as it was fun and it was propably th only creative thing within this unit.
I would like to use this in the future to make request lines on the websidte as i think it would be a good idea to start up a FREE radio station as i am a free-bee.
I found it quite difficult making the rest of the database like the querys and the table. the easierst part of creating the database was probably thr table, because we use the… W.i.Z.a.R.d!!!!!!!!!!!! ha ha ha!!!!!!!! lol! anywayz back on to doing summint fun! Cya Soon on Friday!

Databases eh? I thought this was a good experiance and i enjoyed doing it. I found out a lot of information and i discoveredd that everyone i asked went to shrewsbury on a regular basis.

i think that the database work was qiute hard at first because i had never done a database before.and i found making the table quiet hard as well but once i had been shown what to do i found it easy. if we were given another chance to do one then i would know what to do and i would get it done alot quicker aswell.

I enjoyed using access for my database on travell to shrewsbury.Access was easy to use and wizard was good…shame sir wouldn’t let us use it!!!!!!!
Our database was called pete , wicked name i know,abit random.
My report was o.k. and hard very very hard

i think the data thig was realy hard but it was ok i dident like the report at the the end but we have to do that. i did ok but i could of dun betta but i wasent hear for most of the lesons.thank you

i enjoyed making the database and it was fun working in the groups. i think my report was okay but i only did 2 pages but its quality not quantity lol i think making the database was quite hard to begin with but as we got further into the unit it started to come easier to me i think my report cud’ve gone better ut overall i think i did okay! well thanks 4 readin’ this bye!

Hey all,
This Database Unit was quite easy! But for some quite hard. Maybe sir should allow Wizards for some people who are struggling. Maybe we should have a little bit more time to work on it. I think i went well in this subject but maybe we need abit more guidance!I could do better by taking more time instead of rushing it!:)

we have just been doing a database report it was all about shrewsbury it was very intresting to now how people get to shrewsbury and all the other good information about shrewsbury

It was hard at first but after a while it was easy.I found the queries really hard but i asked sir to help me and he told me what to do i found the able really easy. It was really hard because i did not understand andi did the right thing and asked sir. If i had a a nother chance i would put more detail on my report and it woud make it longer.

I think this module went very well, I really enjoyed making my database. I struggled at first, but I eventually got the hang of it. It was quite hard to understand all of the points. When we eventually got to make the evaluation I found that really easy because i could look at: my table, my query, my form and my report on Microsoft Access. I tried to make my database and database evaluation as detailed as possible. I was very proud of my final evaluation. I could probably have put more description on my evaluation and maybe put more time and effort into it but I found my database was very good.

We have just finished our database report. I really enjoyed it because it was something different. The easiest part about the Database was the table because we used the wizard so all we had to do was follow the on screen instructions

the exams were pretty easy actually the reason is that i revised about twice a daywith my family. the other reason is that sir gave us a lot of information. I did quite well because i have been tort by the best ict teacher in the world.I would try and walk on it on the weekends as well.

me and katarzyna enjoyed making the databases it was thee first thing that Katarzyna has covered in this school year. i preferd the powerpoint topic because it was fun and involved more creativity and colour.but this database topic was quite fun also because it was the first time i had heard of databases.
it wasn’t as easy as what we though it would be at the start but we managed to complete the topic in the end. liked designing the forms and tables reports and queries and we took a lot of new stuff in at the same time.
can’t wait to find out what our next topic is c ya soon

The report was hard but creating the data base was easy a bit to easy though.
I found out that a lot of people went to shrewsbury on a regular basis and that they often go with someone else.
I think my report was okay but I don’t think I finished it.

i found the databases quite difficuilt because i had never heard of them before but i think i did quit well in the end but i’m not to shore about my report because i couldn’t remember how we did it all!
