How’s it going?

So far this year, year 7 pupils have created a presentation and started to make an editted movie. Now is your chance to share your ideas about how this part of the course is going with the rest of the class. Add a comment below to say how you are getting on with the course - is it easy/hard? what parts of unit have you enjoyed the most? what are you looking forward to later in the year? how could it be made better? Your ideas will be used to help change the rest of your work in key stage 3 so share them with everyone.

    i think that the movie maker is excellent but i think that we could have spent more time on the transitions , titles and credits

    My work is going ok so far, but i think i can improve my work by coming back to the ict suite more often in dinner times and doing some more of my work

    i have enjoyed making the video so far. However i have had some trouble finding different things on movie maker. Ispent time on my presentation but perhaps it was a bit too complecated and i hyperlinked it to much. Overall i have enjoyed the projects we have done

    i think it is going very well for me but it is a bit harder than i thourght. i think it has tort me that you can change things on the movies on the computer and now i now how to do more things.

    i have enjoyed every thing we have been doing in ict this term apart from forgetting things and doing things .I think everyone did well with their work.

    i enjoyed making my powerpoint presentation and using the animations and adding sounds and effects and it made me reflect on what i have got and to appreciate life i think i could improve on my amount of pages and put more info in thanks !!!

    I have really enjoyed working on the projects we have been doing in ict this year.  I think everyone enjoyed well on making their presontations-i sure did.

    a good point but we only have a short amount of time to cover everything - what could we do more quickly to make more time for the transitions etc?

    ive had a load of fun making movies editing and adding narration and getting a chance to do new things

    :smile:I have enjoyed making PowerPoint presentations this term, i thought it was really cool, and i would like to do some more work on pp. I think all of 7.2’s presentations were great, but it was sad that Mitchell couldn’t show his because he had lost it - TRY LOOKING IN HISTORY DOCUMENTS/FILES! So far i am enjoying making movies on Movie Maker, but i would like to learn more about splitting SOUND!!! I have not finished my movie yet, but it is coming to the end, i waould like to film and edit but sadly we don’t do that in this unit of work, Hope we can do more in the future, harb94! :smile:

    I like ict but I think we should have more time on our work cause if we share a computer we have to wait for the other person to finish there work b4 we can even start!!!! so we have to waste break + lunch time which is not fair.
    WE SHOULD HAVE MORE COMPUTERS!!!!!! :mad:

    We will have to make some changes after all the good comments you have all made. either we’ll borrow some laptops or move some people around so that they get more time on a computer in the next module. We can also add some more help sheets so that if someone doesn’t remember all the points we talk about at the front they can find a reminder when they are working

    :smile: RG, i think we could have spent less time on being shown all the scenes in shrek and use that time 4 narration, transitions n all the more inportant things, we were shown the same shrek scenes at least 10 times possibly more!!!!!! :lol:

    I am really annoyed i missed most of my last ict lesson b’cuz of keyboard it looked really fun when i went in at 11.00 ish. :sad:
